Based in Toronto, Sarah Itamah is a musician, performer, and event curator for countless initiatives. From her 2020 debut song to her most recent release, "Changes," she has consistently transformed herself to fit the modern "now." Her commitment to refining her musical style and lyrical expression has been evident throughout her career. In 2022, she released her EP “Nomacrisis” at Media Pass. Professionals from the music and art industries participated in a two-part panel discussion at this event, offering insightful information on the business side of these creative industries. In 2023, She performed at the Manifesto Block for the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop, she blazed the stage, reciting a medley of “Nomacrisis” including the single “Sundays” off the EP.

The Gift Shop curated by Imani Dominique

March 2023, Imani Dominique hosted “The Gift Shop” at Black Owned Toronto located in Square One, this event event was an opportunity for artists, photographers and graphic designers, to sell their work and network with prospective clients. The pop-up event was a personal success, I volunteered, facilitating a vibrant and inclusive shopping experience by supporting artists’ needs in showcasing their artwork—I also used this experience to hone my intuitive verve for problem-solving.

Media Pass: A Concert Photography Exhibit curated by Imani Dominique

November 2022, Imani Dominique opened “Media Pass: A Concert Photography Exhibit”!  She conceptualized this exhibit and produced it through her self-titled curatorial production company. With over 200 attendees, the venue was sponsored by Manifesto community projects and over 20 photos included in the show were sold and donated to Unity Charity. I volunteered as a Media Pass greeter: socializing with art industries, facilitating community engagement and also contributing to a space for creatives to sell their work.
